Last Friday, the President announced his new policy plans for Afghanistan and Pakistan. The plan includes a commitment to dialogue between the three nations, but also states a firm committment "to disrupt, dismantle and defeat al Qaeda in Pakistan and Afghanistan" and to meet the Taliban "with force."
