Nationmaster

There is a new web site called Nationmaster that allows users to view various statistics from countries all over the world. The statistics collected cover a great many topics, including crime, employment, education, and immigration, just to name a few. The data can be organized into charts, which makes it easy to compare countries in the statistical categories. From Heafey Headnotes .

Oregon Claims Statutes Are Copyrighted Material

The State of Oregon is claiming that the Oregon Revised Statutes are protected, copyrighted material. HeinOnline Journals Being Indexed by Google Scholar

From the HeinOnline Weblog: Google Scholar is indexing the Law Journals inHeinOnline to make the more than 1,100 titlessearchable in the Google Scholar interface. Theindexing is still ongoing, as Google Scholar has notfully indexed all of the titles in the Law Journal Collection as of yet.
